At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 10.8% compared to 2013, reaching 11.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Netherlands ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.6% (from 10.8% in 2009).
