At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2019, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.8% compared to 2018, reaching 13.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Netherlands ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.9% (from 11.3% in 2014).
