At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.8% compared to 2019, reaching 13.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.9%.

Netherlands ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.2% (from 11.8% in 2015).
