At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 12.7% compared to 2024, reaching 13.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Netherlands ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 13.0% in 2020).
