Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Netherlands's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 11.4% compared to 2015, reaching 7.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.3%.

Netherlands ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.7% (from 6.0% in 2011).
