Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2024, Lithuania's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex increased by 6.2% compared to 2023, reaching 25.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 21.0%.

Lithuania ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 25.5% in 2019).
