Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2009, Poland's main indicators increased by 12.9% compared to 2008, reaching 8.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.9%.

Poland ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 26.1% (from 6.9% in 2004).
