Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Poland's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 7.0% compared to 2009, reaching 9.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.4%.

Poland ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 35.2% (from 6.9% in 2005).
