Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2022, Poland's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 2.1% compared to 2021, reaching 5.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.6%.

Poland ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 36.8% (from 4.2% in 2017).
