Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2021, Poland's share of energy from renewable sources decreased by 13.7% compared to 2020, reaching 5.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Poland ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 42.8% (from 4.0% in 2016).
