Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2016, Portugal's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 9.3% compared to 2015, reaching 89,305.

Portugal ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.2% (from 98,398 in 2011).
