Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2010, Portugal's main indicators increased by 42.8% compared to 2009, reaching 5.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 5.5%.

Portugal ranks 7th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1132.9% (from 0.5% in 2005).
