Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2010, Sweden's share of energy from renewable sources increased by 2.9% compared to 2009, reaching 9.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 5.5%.

Sweden ranks 2nd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 46.0% (from 6.6% in 2005).
