Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Portugal's main indicators increased by 28.2% compared to 2022, reaching 11.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Portugal ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.5% (from 9.0% in 2018).
