Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2023, Spain's main indicators increased by 23.5% compared to 2022, reaching 12.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Spain ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 72.4% (from 6.9% in 2018).
