In 2025, Portugal's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.4% compared to 2024, reaching 91.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 88.1%.

Portugal ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 88.0% in 2020).
