Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2025, Bulgaria's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.2% compared to 2024, reaching 92.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 88.1%.

Bulgaria ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.0% (from 87.9% in 2020).
