Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2025, Romania's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.5% compared to 2024, reaching 92.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 88.1%.

Romania ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.2% (from 90.0% in 2020).
