At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2019, Romania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.6% compared to 2018, reaching 24.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.2%.

Romania ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.0% (from 24.9% in 2014).
