Population structure indicators at national level

In 2007, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.3% compared to 2006, reaching 37.3.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.3.

Romania ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.6% (from 35.0 in 2002).
