Population structure indicators at national level

In 2016, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 2015, reaching 41.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 43.0.

Romania ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.2% (from 40.1 in 2011).
