Population structure indicators at national level

In 2017, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 2016, reaching 41.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 43.2.

Romania ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 40.2 in 2012).
