Population structure indicators at national level

In 2018, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2017, reaching 42.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 43.5.

Romania ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 40.5 in 2013).
