Population structure indicators at national level

In 1999, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.4% compared to 1998, reaching 21.5.

Romania ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.0% (from 19.9 in 1994).
