Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 4.2% compared to 2007, reaching 25.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.1.

Romania ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.8% (from 23.2 in 2003).
