Population structure indicators at national level

In 2014, Romania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.5% compared to 2013, reaching 26.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 30.8.

Romania ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 25.8 in 2009).
