Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, Romania's main indicators increased by 1.7% compared to 2018, reaching 24.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.9%.

Romania ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.2% (from 24.8% in 2014).
