Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Slovakia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.0% compared to 2024, reaching 68.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 66.6%.

Slovakia ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.7% (from 61.7% in 2020).
