Fertility indicators

In 1990, Slovakia's fertility indicators increased by 1.0% compared to 1989, reaching 2.09.

Slovakia ranks 4th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.5% (from 2.26 in 1985).
