Fertility indicators

In 1991, Slovakia's fertility indicators decreased by 1.9% compared to 1990, reaching 2.05.

Slovakia ranks 5th out of 23 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.8% (from 2.20 in 1986).
