Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1971, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.1% compared to 1970, reaching 69.9.

Slovakia ranks 8th out of 13 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.9% (from 70.5 in 1966).
