Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1980, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex decreased by 0.3% compared to 1979, reaching 74.4.

Slovakia ranks 11th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.5% (from 74.0 in 1975).
