Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2021, Slovakia's main indicators increased by 0.4% compared to 2020, reaching 17.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.9%.

Slovakia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 44.8% (from 12.0% in 2016).
