In 2021, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 12.8% compared to 2020, reaching 3,247.

Slovakia ranks 19th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 48.1% (from 6,260 in 2016).
