In 2021, Spain's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 4.6% compared to 2020, reaching 127,572.

Spain ranks 3rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 18.4% (from 156,336 in 2016).
