In 2021, Slovenia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 11.9% compared to 2020, reaching 17.1%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.
Slovenia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.8% (from 17.6% in 2016).
