Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2025, Croatia's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex decreased by 4.6% compared to 2024, reaching 20.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.9%.

Croatia ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.0% (from 20.5% in 2020).
