At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, Spain's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.0% compared to 2024, reaching 16.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

Spain ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 12.8% (from 18.8% in 2020).
