In 2025, Spain's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group decreased by 0.1% compared to 2024, reaching 73.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 68.5%.

Spain ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.0% (from 75.1% in 2020).
