Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, Spain's share of energy from renewable sources decreased by 5.5% compared to 2023, reaching 11.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 11.2%.

Spain ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 48.5% (from 7.6% in 2019).
