Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2025, Spain's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.9% compared to 2024, reaching 85.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 88.1%.

Spain ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.5% (from 79.9% in 2020).
