At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.2% compared to 2020, reaching 18.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Sweden ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.2% (from 18.7% in 2016).
