Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2024, Sweden's early leavers from education and training by labour status decreased by 2.7% compared to 2023, reaching 7.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.4%.

Sweden ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.8% (from 6.5% in 2019).
