Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.2% compared to 2007, reaching 40.6.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 40.6.

Sweden ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.3% (from 39.7 in 2003).
