Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2019, Sweden's main indicators increased by 7.6% compared to 2018, reaching 71.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 34.1%.

Sweden ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 12.7% (from 63.2% in 2014).
