Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2021, Sweden's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.5% compared to 2020, reaching 46.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 33.6%.

Sweden ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.4% (from 41.1% in 2016).
