Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Sweden's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 5.3% compared to 2015, reaching 7.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.3%.

Sweden ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.1% (from 7.9% in 2011).
