Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2016, Sweden's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 7.6% compared to 2015, reaching 18.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Sweden ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 17.6% (from 22.1% in 2011).
