Population structure indicators at national level

In 2016, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 3.9% compared to 2015, reaching 34.7.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 32.2.

Bulgaria ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.8% (from 29.2 in 2011).
