Population structure indicators at national level

In 2016, Italy's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.6% compared to 2015, reaching 37.3.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 32.2.

Italy ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.7% (from 33.7 in 2011).
